ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the rules and restrictions governing the use of the DesignlensUX Platform, tools, dashboards, AI systems, reports, and services (“Services”).

All users (“Users”) must comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access, removal of content, or legal action.

1. Prohibited Content

Users may NOT upload, submit, analyze, or interact with the Platform using any of the following content:

1.1 Illegal, harmful or inappropriate content

  • Pornographic, adult or sexually explicit content

  • Violent, hateful, discriminatory, extremist, or abusive content

  • Content intended to harass or harm individuals or groups

  • Malware, ransomware, harmful code, viruses, bots, or scripts

  • Spam, fraudulent content, deceptive links, or phishing

1.2 Political & Sensitive Content

  • Political content intended for manipulation, promotion, or influence

  • Analysis of political campaign material

2. Website Submission Rules

Users are allowed to submit government, banking/financial, and competitor websites.

However:

2.1 User Responsibility

Users must ensure they have legal authorization or rights to analyze ANY website they submit.

2.2 Platform Liability Protection

DesignlensUX:

  • Does not verify ownership or permissions

  • Does not monitor user intent

  • Is not responsible for how users obtain or submit URLs

  • Is not liable for unauthorized submission of websites, private content, or password-protected material

Full liability rests with the user, not DesignlensUX.

3. Prohibited Technical Behavior

Users may NOT:

  • Use bots, crawlers, or automation to run excessive scans

  • Run thousands of URLs to overload the system

  • Attempt to bypass login or security restrictions

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring, models, AI processes, or algorithms

  • Conduct penetration testing, scraping, or exploit tests

  • Upload files larger than 20 MB

  • Upload unsupported file formats (allowed formats: PNG, JPG)

4. Competitive Use

  • Limited competitor benchmarking IS allowed.

  • Mass scraping or systematic cloning of competitor content IS NOT allowed.

  • Users may not use the Platform to build competing UX benchmarking datasets.

5. Intellectual Property Rules

All reports, insights, benchmarking scores, methodologies, and outputs remain the exclusive intellectual property of DesignlensUX.

Users may NOT:

  • Resell or redistribute reports

  • Publish reports publicly on social media or public forums

  • Claim our methodology as their own

  • Copy or replicate the scoring or analysis structure

You may use reports internally only.

6. Fair Usage Rules

6.1 Reports Per Day

No formal limit currently applies, but abuse or excessive usage may trigger review.

6.2 File Upload Restrictions

Users may upload:

  • PNG

  • JPG

Up to 20 MB per file.

7. Restrictions on AI Output Usage

Users may NOT use AI-generated or platform-generated insights as:

  • Medical advice

  • Legal advice

  • Financial or investment advice

  • Business guarantees of performance

Users must independently verify any insight before applying it.

8. Account Misuse

Users may NOT:

  • Share their account credentials publicly

  • Use the same account for multiple companies unless permitted by their plan

  • Allow unauthorized users to access paid features

  • Attempt to impersonate another user or business

9. Security & Abuse Monitoring

We may monitor usage to detect:

  • Abuse

  • Automated attacks

  • Excessive usage

  • Violations of this AUP

Accounts may be limited, suspended, or terminated without refund if misuse is detected.

10. Enforcement & Termination

DesignlensUX reserves the right to:

  • Remove content

  • Disable features

  • Suspend accounts

  • Terminate accounts

  • Report illegal activity to authorities

Violations may result in immediate termination without refund.

11. Changes to This AUP

We may modify this AUP at any time. Users will be notified of substantial changes via email or website notice.
